The Project Refresh Campaign for Robert E. Lee Elementary recently submitted a $25,000 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant application that if awarded would go directly to a new irrigated soccer field at Lee Elementary this summer. Project Refresh is an exciting new campaign to fund capital improvements to the grounds of the Robert E. Lee Elementary, which includes a new soccer field, expanded garden, new playground area and equipment, outdoor classroom, beautification of the western border facing Matilda Street, and general beautification of the grounds. Project Refresh is funded through the Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 organization as chartered by the State of Texas.
